The SKX011J is a pretty sweet watch, I had 2 in my time (actually one J and one K version), sold them both and wish I hadn't.

I've got the SKXA35, which has the yellow dial. I've no intention of parting with it, but I still hanker after an 011. I think it's the gold detail - sets off perfectly with the orange without looking blingy.

SKXA35 with its older brother (6309-7040 currently away for full refurb) marks on the crystal are just bits of pesky lint.

Very nice Rusty. I have my eye on that yellow dial but I'd better top up my G-Shocks first

Samurai is 7S26, if that is what you were referring to new Sumo is the 6R15 diver.

Some Q&D 'zilla shots for you, can't recommend this watch highly enough. Rubber strap is very uncomfortable on my wrist, stick some adaptors and a Rhino on though and it's great

WOW Rusty.... OK.. that then... awesome watch... I don't think SonnyD wears anything else now-a-daze...

And, I get cornfused with the Seiko nicknames sometimes. One vendor refuses to call a Sumo a Sumo because it doesn't look like a sumo to him???? I forgot what he calls it.. but something else... Seiko sure has a lot of divers....

    Thanks for the pictures Rusty....

    Great pics!

Regarding these Seiko nicknames, although I enjoy some of them like "Darth Vader" and Tuna Can," I try to avoid using them and stick with the model designations. This way there's never any confusion as to what I'm talking about. If I had to guess, this is probably why they gave each model it's own model designation to begin with!
