    GD and GA parts swapping?

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I searched and after several pages of several search results, I didn't see any posts that cover my questions.

I'm thinking of getting a GD-100MS-3DR as I really like negative display watches and like the size of this one and its red illumination. I'm sure it will be smaller than my Wademan I like wearing but I guess I'll cope with a small watch... lol. I'm likely the only person who thinks this thing might be too small.

While I do like the overall looks of the watch, I'm planning on wearing it day-to-day and that means it'll get beaten up. I'd rather beat up a sacrificial black bezel than the OD green one it comes with. So, if I did get it, I would want to replace the bezel. I haven't seen a black GD bezel that I really liked but the GA-100-1A1 looks good to me.

    So, the questions:

Do the GA series bezels fit GD series watches?

If so, where can I get a GA series bezel?
I've dealt with Casio Sales and Service in the past, but don't see the bezels for that watch on their site.

If the GA bezels don't fit or I can't get the 100-1A1, what other model has that blacked out look?
I know I can remove the lettering but I want that matte look and using Goof Off has, on occasion, made the bezel shinier than stock. I'd rather just get a bezel and not have to mess with it.

Yep, looks like it will work, now just need to find a matte black bezel and band. I will gouge and scratch the gloss one... on the matte it doesn't show up so much. And, I'd prefer no colored lettering for same reason... the letters come off with good hits.

I followed the link and the first post talks about a GW-7900. The one after that has a pic of a frog... I'm thinking the link is wrong.

Strange, mine showed up fine, try this one:

If that doesn't work, it's pictures of a fellow forum member who took the bezel and strap of a GA100-1A1 and put them on a GD100-MS-3. So Yes it can be done and it looks quite good if I may say so myself

It's exactly what you're looking for, a matte black band and bezel

yep, GA-100 / GA-110 / GD-100 all have the exact same case size, bezel, bands, springbars, clasps, etc. totally interchangeable. good luck, keep us updated!

    Yep, that worked, thanks.

And exactly what I was contemplating. The GA-100-1A1 on a GD-100-MS-3. Thanks for the visual.

Is the GA-100-1A1 the only matte black bezel/strap setup? Anyone know?
