    GD-X6900FB Transparent Series

I have been seeing a lot of folks here dye the shiny jelly resin sets on models like the
    GD-X6900FB-8's
Today I saw a website showing a few done in Blue & Red....Nice Murakami kind of vibe.
Will have to try & get a resin set & give it a try

That looks good. Better than what Casio put out. Yeah Casio needs to do a jelly series.

Or a Haribo Gummi Bear collab. Haha i can picture a bunch of licking threads popping up again.

After I asked around here I found those are in fact some that were done here on new FB-8B's

Not sure if that website is affiliated with them so removed the link.
The pictures are actually from Siam Square here in Bangkok

I am guessing if one were to color the watch case under the bezel the same way they did with the new Rangeman (yellow body/aqua resin)
you could get some very interesting shades

You can see the effect of the black case on these above....So could be interesting to experiment...I am thinking Silver or Gold under the red would
    do a Candy Apple Red

you can dream all you like but
the original jelly resin is too dark, therefore, the dye came out is too dark to my liking - when you wear it, too dark looks solid in color, to me it lost the purpose of dyeing in the first place
the last jelly came out dye-able would be the DGK-8900 which I think our member Tsip camo-dyed it
the green jelly Rangman came out recently appears to be dye-able too but it is a every expensive project to do

I am not at liberty to post pics of the resin alone I have seen here as they are not my photos I would not feel right about doing it.

But I will say it is not too dark at all & the pics above of assembled watches is not really showing them in good lighting angles.
Nor do they show the variations possible with less soaking different colors etc.

I think what I have seen here is quite beautiful & I have also seen very light colors like yellow/gold done very nicely
There is also resin here that is not tinted/stock like the greys etc but more like the DGK but even more clear like an ice cube & glossy
which is the most important part of this IMHO

In any case will see when I give it a try

These look like gloss jelly... how is that possible? Are they sprayed with some kind of clear coat?
