    GD100MS-1 Impulse buy.

I was walking past a Casio store yesterday and saw this in the flesh for the first time and had to have it. I was quite surprised with the colour of the display, I've heard it described as pink and it certainly looks pink in the stock picture, even in my photo and indoors in low light but outside in the daylight it looks copper coloured to me, not quite the colour I was expecting, quite nice though. I do also have a GD100-1B but it doesn't get much wrist time because the negative display is not very clear, this is a much better display and I love the red LED backlight, what a fantastic colour. I am probably going to flatten the battery just looking at it every ten minutes.

Like it. Very clear display. Nice colour scheme. Technically an impulse buy as you say, but I bet that plenty of people will have bought that model after lengthy careful deliberation. Wear it with pride.

Nice one dobber, how is the contrast of the dial, is it easy to read?

    Enjoy it to the max.

I've never really liked the GD-100, but that colour makes quite a difference. A good impulse buy.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

@Txemizo: It's very easy to read, day night or even upside-down
@tribe: The GD100 truly rocks for the price and the package you get! Plus the Super Bright LED and the 7 year battery!!!

For $70 on Amazon, forget about it!!!

    Re: GD100MS-1 Impulse buy.

@Txemizo, What Shocker said, I was dissapointed with my negative display GD100-IB and didn't think I'd buy another GD100, but the GD100MS-1 is so easy to read and the LED backlight is gorgeous, it's a deep red. Go and have a look at one in a shop, I wasn't tempted until I saw one in the flesh. It also helps that it's such a good price for an XL size watch.

I like the GD100MS-1 display. Easy to read but not boring. The black coated buckle on mate black band is a nice touch too.

Thanks Shocker and dobber, it certainly looks to have a very legible display. I like it more than the GD100, easier to read and not so much going on. Congratulations, you got yourselves a good looking G

Don't know if I could have resisted either. Very cool.
