GDF-100 The highest G-Shock in Ireland

Climbed the highest peak in Ireland. It is 1,038 m[1] (3,406 feet). The altimeter sensor was pretty good, compared the reading loads of times the gps and was always within a few meters of a difference, this is without any calibration and the watch was always on the wrist but exposed.

Been there on Carrauntoohil in the reeks - weather looks about the same, it was summer 1977 then though (year after the UK drought) - we were staying with the people who ran the post office on Valentia Island - and I got a telegram with my exam results.
