    GG-B100-1A3JF - 2019 Casio Mudmaster quad sensor

So this arrived today, managed to snag one from Japan for 338 all in. Happy with the price and happy with the piece. I have not seen any other posts about it arriving so I thought I would share my quick thoughts.

Itís a fine looking watch in person. All my prior G Shocks had been solar so this is a change there but really not a big deal all things considered. Some cool touches are the single domed mineral crystal really punches above its weight with this design. The Lume is sufficient, the illuminator is super bright. The carbon fiber looks great. The step sensor I could take or leave. The App support works for the only function it needed which was sunrise sunset to your exact location, though itís annoying I cannot manually set it, or at least I have not figured out how. The rest are the same as the prior mudmaster GWG.

The case is noticeably slimmer and the design hugs the wrist nicely. It wears small for its gargantuan size. I have a 6.76Ē wrist for reference.

For the price I canít think of a better G to get. Feel free to PM with any questions. Sorry about the low quality photos and short write up.

CR2025 batteries are easy to come by so it makes up for the lack of solar (2yr claimed battery life).

I have a 6.5" wrist and wear a GPR-B1000 Rangebeast, so this watch would look more conservative on my wrist. I like the dial layout -- it's more balanced. The carbon fiber is a definite bonus. I may stop by the G-Shock Soho store in NYC and try on one. The watch would be perfect it was solar. That said, Casio's heading in a good direction with this line.

Congrats and enjoy your new Muddie! I like it a lot!

Thanks for taking the time to post photos and your impressions. Looking forward to trying this one on once it hits Macy's stateside next month.

It was Grandfather's and when Father gave it to me he said I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire.... I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it."

I had the GPR-B1000 and sold it because I had a Garmin, but that doesnít mean it canít be rocked on wrists in our size range. No solar is a bummer, but 2025 are cheap and easy to get, I just bought 20 from amazon. If I still have this in Forty years i will be G-shocked.

Trying it on is a must. Casio is really starting to come into its own with band design and this one balances it nicely so it feels more like a cuff than a wrist clock.

gahhhh it looks awesome.... and i hate it for looking so similar to the gwg! lol makes it hard when im trying not to double up on similar designs and colours! will be interesting to see what colours they have in the second release, hoping for a -2a variant in the way of the gwa1100

A blue variant would look great and so would a FDE or desert camo like the mini mudmaster Two sensor.

I am a sucker for a good watch and multiple colorways so I ordered the blackout as well. Will post pics when it arrives, I imagine it performs identically so it will just be pictures.

I canít pull off the orange so that wonít be acquired unless there is a huge sale.

Edit: don't know why I thought this watch was an Atomic Time Sync watch, but it is not, specifically it time syncs with the App and BT... Just a side note.

Very cool watch. I've been eyeing it for a while.

How heavy is it? I imagine not very, because it's carbon fiber?
