Not that hard to understand really.
I have a few years of industrial CF experience from aerospace and I can guarantee you the only way that CF bezel is breaking is if the rest of watch around it is already in pieces - which is exactly what happened in the video (by a guy who doesn't understand the material and said so).

This is a legit MM that's had features trimmed to be accessible to more buyers - not sure what all the hate on this thread is about - for $250 for the features YOU DO GET it's a great value!

@kubr1ck in honor of the hate, I think I'll buy one just to spite it - where'd you get yours for $250? MLTD? Thanks!

'All the hate' OMG & LOL!

I said I wouldn't be happy with a bezel that's paper thin in parts and got roasted.

Everyone else has moved on, long ago...
Forgive me if I forget to add 'IMO' after every post.
I can only express my opinion and if you don't like it tough!

roasted?? Just correcting your characterization of CF: TLDR, it doesn't matter the CF is thin in places it's not meant to protect and won't flex (which is the case here). Materials trade-off strength for flexibility, weight, and looks. CF is low weight, super strong, but not very flexible - if this bezel were made of steel it'd get impact damaged WAY before this CF (and of course ceramic would shatter despite being very hard).

CF in this application is the stronger, lighter, more impact resistant material and doesn't need flexibility because it's bolted in, plus it looks awesome - if that doesn't make you happy, that's cool.

Anyway, I didn't mean to imply all the hate was yours, but some of it was - which is fine, we don't all need to like everything.

Ignore @CC. He threw his toys out the pram when he realised how much of an idiot he looked after being too sensitive to my posts.

I even apologised if he thought they were all directed at him and he didn’t even want to acknowledge that.
