The step counter seems to be kind of a random add-on to the watch though. That said, the lack of solar kills the watch for me unless I really like it when I check it out.
What do you think of the new Seiko "Arnie" reissue? It is in the price range of MT-G models but lacks a lot of the Casio features. I'm thinking of getting one out of nostalgia, I just watched Predator and wanted one since i was a kid.

I had no idea Seiko was re-releasing them. I did a quick Google search -- and I think I like what I see. If you were a big Predator fan, then this watch would be such a fun nostalgia purchase. I'm a big Seiko Tuna fan, and once owned SKX007s, so I like the shroud, the small digital display, and the SKX007/009 design cues, particularly the handset. To some, the watch might appear cobbled together, but I find that these disparate elements work well together. I think this watch is worth the money if you enjoy the design a lot.

This is where my mind went when I saw the step counter:

Yeah, I'm not to excited about having a step sensor either. How far I walked or ran is just enough for me. I don't really need any micro analysis.

Yep. My wife is enough of a reminder of how much I have in common with a sloth.

Hey, it hasn't got a depthmeter it comes with a steptracker as its quad sensor. Which I think is pretty cool. But I think it should also be on the rangeman.

Hey there Casio, let's go ahead and swap that step counter out for tough solar. You can go back to calling it a triple sensor, my feelings won't be hurt.
