    GG-B100 v GPR B1000

I just tried on the B100 at the Soho NYC store. It looks really nice and wears comfortably on my 6.5Ē wrist. I think it edges the B1000 in terms of wrist comfort. The B100 is super light and hugs my wrist well. That said, I thought it was nice but not nice enough to walk out with it at that moment. I need to think about it since Iíve generally not been partial to G-Shocks analog watches.

I also think the Rangebeastís digital display is quite nice. Iíve owned the Rangebeast for several months now. And itís been my only big G-Shock out of a collection comprising of squares.

Do you guys think I should swap my Beast for the new muddie? Or should I should just end up owning both chunky watches lol

Personally, I'd wait for the solar version. I prefer my sensor watches to be solar.

I suspect there will be a solar version at some point, for more money of course.

I am with you on analogue Gs, but at the same time, how many squares can one man own?.... wait, that's a bad question, lol.

    BOTH my friend... BOTH
am still waiting for its launch here in Singapore... 8 August as i was told
glad to hear that it feels good on the wrist, but personally i think a solar version of the same watch/dial might be challenging as there could be too little surface area for charging, but I am happy to be wrong in this case :)

Apples to Oranges since the GPR is considerably more expensive. But really you should keep the watch that is more comfortable to wear. Or keep both. Once the GG becomes widely available stateside, with online discounts they'll be obtainable in the $250 range, which is a steal for this watch, solar or non-solar.
"When the shadow of the sash appeared in the curtains it was between seven and eight o'clock and then I was in time again, hearing the watch. It was Grandfather's and when Father gave it to me he said I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire.... I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it."

kind of two ends of the spectrum so its not really a comparable scenario. small chunky analog with less features or giant digital with the works. tho i think the deciding factor for the ggb would be its size, since its smaller, would you likely wear it more often?

i really like the ggb but im holding off till i see the second round of colours (the green is my fave but way too close to the gwg and while i like the orange the colour combo on the face and the greeny grey bits dont quite cut it) or if theres a possible solar version.
