    Giez and New Lume

Hello. I have a Giez (GS-1000 Series) that most know has weak lumination. Is there a watch smith in the US that anybody knows of that is capable of safely working on a Giez and adding quality lumination to the hands?

I've heard good things about Kent Parks:

You can do a search of his name on the forums.

Let us know how it goes. I have a G1000H that the lume is only on the inside of the hands. not much on the hour marks. I think it would be great to have the whole hands lumed

I think there's one or two members in the G-Shock forum that have done lume jobs themselves. I know that ADAN does oil filled watches, can't remember if he does lume.

IIRC, ADAN does lume job using Noctilumina.

I have attached some pictures from my archive.

I just shipped my GS-1000BJ-1A9JF off to Kent to have it re-lumed in gold. A bit pricey, but this is my favorite of my Giez collection. As soon as I hear back from Angelo, I'll send him my (by way of Statius) GS-1000BJ-1AJF to do in blue. I'll post pictures as I get them back.
