Whoa, the solar/atomic 7900 is out already?! Casio seems to be in an awful hurry...

this thread elicits from me: schwing!

so the gs-1300, we knew you were near! after all it's been about a year since the 1200's debut. what's new? the rubber bumpers are pushed towards the center and connected top to bottom. the exposed area gives the watch maybe a more futuristic look! the top and bottom of the metal bezel (above g-shock and shockresist) is very squared- a big contrast to the basically circular shape on the 1200. the labels are gone from the resin, a change i like. the indexes look more square vs trapezoidal, and new hands look less dressy than the old. naturally yes / no is added for the alarm and a / p is missing presumably because world time is in 24 hours. the neat (imho) ribs on the interior wall are replaced with city codes, understandably, but... certain to be continued, at the moment i feel like face simply now looks more like other casios and has lost some uniqueness.

Now that could be quite popular. Just a feeling I have...

Oh boy - these are both killing me! Man that Giez is nice ... and I wasn't a fan of the new G-7900, but the reverse multi-band - that is sweet. Yah I could see this is a Gulfie killer, too bad they couldn't squeeze all the same goodness into the Gulfman....

We don't know what goodness they've squeezed out of it yet.
