    gL-150 battery change question

Picked up a GL-150 recently with a dead battery. Trying to change it, but can't get to the back. There are two large screws in the back cover (both out in pic 1) and it seems like the whole protective piece will come off. But it won't- I've pulled it as far as I'm comfortable with, and no luck. Anyone know if I definitely have to take off the side screws? Normally I would pop them out and not worry about it, but they're stripping when I attack them with my normal tiny size screwdriver that I use for all other watch screws, so I'd rather not mess with them if I don't have to.

I don't know much about this model, but...are these the "side screws" that you're referring to?

If so, and if they seem to be stripping when you try to remove them, is there any chance that they could be these somewhat frustrating screws Casio uses to attach watchbands on other G-Shock and Pro Trek models?

Since the screws thread into the tiny posts, it can seem like you're stripping the screw since you can turn it counter-clockwise forever and not make any progress -- UNLESS you're also holding the post end with another screwdriver and keeping it from turning!

I really hate this kind of screws, sometimes they are a pain in the... to remove, and if you´re not careful it can leave marks on it, that are very visible.... hate that!

That one seems to be put together somewhat like a G-3010/3011. Just disassemble everything you can see to get to the caseback. And Mike K. is most likely correct that those are bars with male/ female connections. So, break out the two screwdrivers and be careful not stab yourself with them.
