    Gmw b5000 bracelet endlinks

Has anyone tried to modify the end links so they articulate more?
Really like the bracelet more than the resin band but hate how much the bracelet sticks out.

The protrusion is a deliberate shock protection feature amd shouldn't be modified. It protects the case in certain shocks.

I see, so you're saying the protrusion is meant to distance the watch case from shock. but yet the resin band doens't protrude as much, which negates any distance that the bracelet offers

I don't have the biggest of wrists, but I've never noticed a protrusion.

The resin would not NEED to protrude as much, because of the nature of the material. Resin doesn't transmit shock so much as it distributes it. That's why it's used in the bezels of other G's, and in the intermediate layer under the bezel of the GMW.

The bracelet attaches directly to the case, so there needs to be a way to prevent the bracelet from transmitting an impact to the case if the watch should fall.
