GMW B5000 Gold Positive vs Negative display

    Hi folks!

Just a quick question. Some of the pictures of the gold gmwb5000 has positive display on them. While some have negative display. I checked on gshock website and they only list gold with negative display. Whats up with the positive display? Is it an anniversary edition?

    Thanks !

GMW B5000 Gold Positive vs Negative display

The positive display gold square is the limited edition 35th Anniversary watch. Itís fully polished. The negative display version is not limited, and has a brushed bezel and bracelet.
FWIW, I had the 35th anniversary edition and ended up selling it because it was just too shiny. I really liked it, but just couldnít get much wear out of it. The brushed version looks fantastic, and Iíd strongly consider getting one, but Iíve been pretty enamored by the steel square.

Thank you! That picture explained everything !

I just recently purchased GMWB5000 with resin strap. I am in love with negative display + brushed steel + black resin contrast. Looks modern and a bit industrial at the same time.

Might swap the resin with the steel bracelet next year.
