Those look so nice but I don't think I can get a non-solar, non-atomic SS watch. I'm just spoiled by so much technology on my other Casios.

is it snobby of me to think that +/- 20 seconds a month accuracy isnt that good for a £230 watch? not to mention the lume..

Not snobby, but that's in the standard range for quartz accuracy. Seiko (conservatively) quotes the same figure, I think, for its standard movements. The standard ETA quartz movements in Tag Heuers have a similar specification, and Tags cost a lot more.

There isn't really a correlation between accuracy and price. Seiko are able to put an 8F movement in some of their Spirit line which is accurate to 20 seconds a year, but use basic movements in watches that cost a lot more. Cases, crystals and bracelets determine the price of most quartz watches.

With the exception of Seiko and Breitling (there may be others but I can't think of them), no-one really bothers with high-accuracy quartz. Which is a shame...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

The +/- was a bit of a turnoff for me as well. With all the other shortcomings in my post I didn't feel like piling on as I tolerate 15 on the Frogman.

Still visually great looking watches and a reasonable price so I'm not saying never.

Casio, like many makers always give you a wide buffer of inaccuracy, which is often not reflected in the real accuracy of the watch. I think on average, my G's have been about 2-5 sec/month.

I have also read here that the Casio analogs models can be even more accurate than the digitals.
