Unbelievable watch for the money! I've paid more than that for a Zulu strap...
Never argue with an idiot - they'll only bring you down to their level and win from experience...
GW7900B (Stealth modded), GW7900CD-9ER (slightly modded), G7900A-7ER (Camo modded) G7900MS-1BDR, GW2500BD, ProTrek PRG 60YT (RIP), Chase Durer Mach 3, 2 x Citizen Skyhawks (Black & Titanium), Citizen Carbon Promaster JY0075-54E, 2 x vintage Seiko Chronographs, Invicat Grand Diver, Citizen BL5280-52E. Casio GWA 1100-1AER, GWG 1000-1A3ER (J&K metal bracelet conversion). GA400...
"The nylon strap is a little itchy." You think? Sheesh, he has that thing on like a tourniquet!
Apparently these are still available, with the green "Nato" strap (there's also a black one). You can get around $26 on eBay.
I prefer the AE-1200 to the newer AE-1300. I abhor the fact that they reintroduced the useless pie counter graphics, "eye candy indicators" as fwupow said, in the AE-1300. Stupid of CASIO. But what's the deal with the time zones? Only 4? I'd expect it to rotate on time zones all across the globe. What about the chaps in Australia, Japan, or Hawaii? Maybe it rotates through the time zones based on your current zone, so if you moved it to Japan TZ, it would show the 4 time zones around that. I didn't have the patience to watch the whole video.
Anyway, given how cheap the band is, I'd not get this version. The steel bracelet option is awful... chintzy crappy metal bracelets annoy me to no end. I'd rather go with the $14.40 all black "vanilla" version, and then modify it -- like painting the case a metallic color of choice, since the silver one is merely painted.
In rotation: Citizen Attesa ATV53-2834, Eco Drives | Omega Seamaster | CASIO: TW-7000, MRG-220, RevMan, G-2000D, DW-5700ML, GW-9100 | Seiko SKA-413, SBPG001
The module lets you select any three of the 49 available time zones for quick access in Multi-time, in addition to your home time zone.
The AE-2000 and AE-2100 have the same functionality in a bigger form-factor with better build quality (mineral glass crystal and 200m water resistance), but only a 1-LED light (instead of 2) and a weaker alarm sound (AE-2000 also lacks the world map).
Here's mine when I had it on a 2-piece nylon strap.

The likes also likes, even if I have worn them in the past not so often. Have just "too many" other watches.
I think the 4 timezones are for quick access. You can set those into any 4 that you need to know the time quickly.

The Multi-time feature on the AE-1200 and AE-2000 is also available on some G-Shocks, like the GD-100 and GD-120.
Having the Multi-time feature is like having three additional world time modes in addition to the standard one. These additional world time modes have a nice added feature: the ability to change the time zone westward as well as eastward. In the standard world time mode on a Casio with a 4-button interface, the time zone can only be changed eastward, because the button that would normally be used to move the time zone westward is used for the light.
