    GPW-1000 , southernmost "terrestrial" sync ?

Guys, watch the video, a lollipop to the one who guesses first where I was standing when I GPS-synced the watch.

    http://www.servermasters.com/stuff/DSC_2752.MOV

To consider that I was standing on ground, not on an airplane, or a ship.

HINT: the ground was full of dung.

Did you use the "reply" button, then "post quick reply?"

There's a recent "known issue" with that and attachments that show up looking like this:

    Name: no hint.png
Views: 350
Size: 16.4 KB

The only current workaround now seems to be "reply" => "go advanced" => "submit reply."

    Not so. After posting ...

Hit 'Edit' ... 'Go advanced' ... 'Manage Attachments' ... then drag the photo down into the bottom box & hit 'Done'.

OR ... when you are originally posting ... hit 'Go Advanced' in the first place & go thru the same routine.

I pointed it out to a moderator at least a week ago ... as I'm sure many others have ... but so far no fix has been implemented.

Don't know if it's at my end with Windows 10, Firefox or downloading originally from Samsung Note 5 [Android whatever-the-hell] ... or if it's the WUS software !

I always resize the pic to fit ... so that's not part of it. Who knows !!!

The first thread over in "Site Issues" that I linked above is four weeks old, and I lost track of how many threads in that sub-forum alone got "merged" into that one.

I'm happy to say that with my computer and "go advanced" I don't have to go through the "manage attachments" and dragging nonsense.

Based on that thread, it's NOT just Windows 10 or at your end, but nobody yet seems to have figured out what the problem is or how to fix it, but hopefully they'll figure it out sometime soon!

    Re: GPW-1000 , southernmost "terrestrial" sync ?

This thing has affected so many threads. I've seen so many either new or not tech savvy members gave up on posting their pictures. Results in lost opportunities in helping them with a watch question. Or in cases like this, lost opportunities to see some member's interesting pictures. Like in another thread, some member posted a broken attachment of him standing in 10,000 feet... and we can't see it.

They should figured this by now, that it's only related to the quick reply. Somehow it uploads the pictures, but not able to link it correctly.

For the OP, if you want people to look at your video more, please upload to youtube. Or just post pictures here, make sure to avoid the quick reply bug mentioned by Mike above. That's because many would be cautious to not to click an unknown link and download an unknown file, just in case it's some sort of phishing or malicious attack. I know that's probably not your intention, but still.

Well, because the OP said southern most and dung. I would guess Australia. That is without even seeing a single video or picture from the OP.
