I like the looks of the green resin Mudman but have reservations about the reverse image of the face. Do those of you that have this watch like the reverse image? Is it easy to read during the day and at night?
That model was my firsty G-9000 mudman, I bought it because of the reverse display. Cool style. Although not an easy instant read, its adequate for me.
The display is slightly harder to read than a normal one, in that it takes perhaps a quarter of a second longer to read the time. At night I just use the light
My experience of that one is that it's easy to read in good light (eg in the display cabinet of your local high street watch seller), but not so good otherwise (eg at the counter of same, trying it on ;-)).
i was worried about this to but decided to take a chance. as it turns out it's not as bad as i thought. just a drop more difficult to read than a positive display, but i could make out the time in all but the crappiest lighting. for the record i'm an old man (45 this year) so if i could read it without reading glasses so could you
Old man? I can't even remember being 45. I was older than that when I was born. I'm so old that when I was born, the Dead Sea was just a little under the weather.
Pull the trigger. I can see it very well it very well in all types of lighting.
By the way, I'm a VERY young 44 years old! (and have been for years..)
