…or in MOST modes.
I love this feature in a G-Shock. One could say I’m obsessed with this feature. I love using the STW or CDT and having the time readily available. This is the main reason I absolutely LOVE my GW9200 Riseman. And this is the reason that prevents my GD100MS1 from being my favorite G. I love everything about my GD except for the fact that it does not have home time in ANY mode. I mean it has 4 time zones and WT but no home time even in those modes. It fits so comfortably, has nice wrist presence, I love the color combo, I love the design, I love the big easy-to-push buttons and I’d marry the red/orange Dual LED Super Illuminator. I think the only thing holding the GD100MS1 back from being perfect is the lack of home time in all modes. That and maybe a 5th button.
So my question is - are there any other G-Shocks that have home time in STW, CDT, ALM and WT (if it has it, which it should)? This “feature” is not listed in the Casio specs. I’m interested in the G7900MS-1A for maybe my next G. Does this one have it?
Positive display. Negatives are a no-no.
Minimum 24hr 1/100sec. STW, 24hr CDT 1min. settable (would like 1sec. settable)
WT or Multi-Time Zones preferred
Prefer battery but will consider solar (atomic is ok but not needed).
Size: I have a DW5600 and a GX56 so somewhere in between.
If only the GD100MS1 had home time in all modes, I'd excuse the lack of the dedicated light button and it would replace my GW9200 as my favorite. Some say the display is pink(ish) but to me it is more copper-toned... kinda matches my olive-toned skin.
