    there u go. GW = G Waveceptor

basically G-9100 is non atomic while the GW-9100 comes with Multi-Band Atomic Timekeeping (US, UK, Germany, Japan)

The atomic/solar versus non-atomic/non-solar versions have (in my opinion) very different functional capacities:

The non-atomic/non-solar version uses the tide graph/moon phase, has dual EL backlight, 24hr countdown timer, 25 hour stopwatch. It's supposed to last 7 years on one battery.

The atomic/solar version does NOT have the tide graph/moon phase, has a single EL backlight, 1hr countdown timer, and a 1000hr stopwatch. But it obviously adds atomic clock synching and solar power, potentially never needing a battery.

Not to confuse you even more, if you don't need the moon graph, and want a module that has even more features packed into a module that closely resembles and exceeds the gulfman in functions check out the GW-400 silencer.

Actually BIG_G, the 400J does have a moon graph, as well as a thermometer .

Thank goodness I did not know about it.......... or else............!!!!!!!!!!!!

and I might have even been taken in by the sopanne $50 scam.

But it does narrow it down to 2 modules. Either the ordinary gulfman with its 7 yr battery and sheer good looks. Or the GW 400j, which has almost everything but the kitchen sink in the module. Although it does look like a mini bagel or donut.

That's what I find, too. The design has grown on me a bit, but I still feel like it has too much plain, smooth resin and not enough detailing on it, or something.

This seller is pretty honest and reputable, at least this frog is legit. There have been occasions of some custom jobs being sold as limited editions, but I've noticed that the item descriptions have changed to reflect the true state of those watches. This WCCS frog will probably go in the range of $150-250. A word of caution; everytime I tried to bid on a bbtiesto auction I get snipered last second. Good Luck!
