    GW-1310A Freaking out

Just randomly, starts beeping every 10 sec or so, the digital portion flashes, and then after a couple of minutes, it goes back to normal. It might go for days, and then just out of the blue, beeping...

    Any ideas?

Weird! It sounds like a timer countdown with the EL flash option enabled. What module does this use? You could go thru the manual and make sure you've turned off EL flash if your watch has the option, and make sure the timer isn't running.

And if that doesn't work, open it up and do the AC reset thing (search for 'AC' and 'reset' if you don't know how to do this). Only open it up as a last resort, though.

Could it be something like the battery running low on power? If not, perhaps a bug in the watches' software, if it's not an activated countdown timer as suggested above?

A beeping and flashing watch does not particularly sound like a low battery. Low batteries are mostly indicated by flaw beeps and minimal lights. I think an AC reset is a very good idea, but it might be a countdown timer in repeat mode. Did you check all the alarms?

    Re: GW-1310A Freaking out

Well, there isn't anything "set" on it, (That I can find.... :) ), so I just placed it on teh window sill for a few days to see if maybe I wasn't getting enough charge to it. It did fine for a couple of days, then I just placed it upside down on my dresser, and it just started randomly beeping with teh digital display flashing. I'll try the reset thing and see if that works.

    Thanks for teh ideas guys!
