GW-200 Frogman VS GWF-1000 Frogman fit

I just picked up a GWF-1000 off the forums (not paid or received yet) and I was wondering how the fit of the watch compares with the GW-200. I had a GW-200 and found the strap fit very strange with the sides of the band not touching the wrist. The fit was either too loose or too tight. I know this is a dive watch and they give you that extra width for a dive suit. How does the new GWF-1000 atomic frogs fit compared to the older frogs? I'm looking for a fit more similar to the regular g-shocks like mudman or riseman.

The gwf1000 is larger than the gw200 so i would presume that you will experience the same problem. I recently bought the gwf1000 as well and i'm so happy how it fits my wrist... I have a 7" wrist and the gwf1000's fit is perfect...

The gwf is a lot larger then the GW200. I have both and a 6.5 inch wrist and the Gw-200 fits better to my wrist but the GWF1000 is not bad just larger and has a longer lug to lug length. I think the part you are talking about that doesn't touch your wrist much on the 200 will be exacerbated on the 1000 due to the significantly longer size of the lugs/case. In other words if I wear my 200 and look longways down my arm I see light between the lugs/strap connection and my wrist. On the GWF1000 I see about twice the light. It is a BIG watch and wears as such. The sides of the band will not really touch your wrist if they don't on the 200.
