    GW-2000

    Hello
I'm having an issue with a watch and was looking for some advice
Recently bought my second GW-2000 atomic / solar watch. I had the black finish version and got the silver as well as they look great
The silver one will not set its self to the automatic date and time. My black one does this perfect so its not a signal problem
I am aware that it was stored in the dark in its box for about 6 months up to last Thursday. I don't know if this is a factor
I did a manual hand alignment as the second hand was not centering for the stopwatch but this is fixed. I also did the function that centers all hands in all dials.
Trying a manual receive the second hand goes to N (signifying that the last reception was not successful) then the manual says it should go to either ready and or work. It does not but goes straight back to telling the time. As I write this it is 13.10 on 2nd August my watch is saying 11.22am on the 3rd. I have set the home city as both London and UTC but neither did the trick
Any of you Casio buffs have any idea?

What level is the battery at? It might not be able to attempt a sync if it's on low.

According to the instructions you can tell the battery level from the second hand. It is ticking away normally at 1 second intervals. This seems to indicate level 1 power. However it started doing this straight away from not going at all. i thought it might be a low charge causing poor / no reception. The instructions do say it takes 138 hours to charge from level 3 to 1 so I will give it a while and see what happens
