    GW-5600 question

Alright, I'm leaving in 2 weeks for Army Basic Training. I dont want to take my Black Helios Frogman and mess it up (been wearing daily for 6 months now!) so I'm looking for something new. I like the GW5600, but am still concerned about the battery issue. Any advice on that? Are they still giving problems? If so I'll probably take a dw8500 codename and have the mudresist and be done with it. Thanks for the help!

The GW-5600's have proven to be very reliable in regards to the CTL1616 battery issue. I have two and they have been flawless.

    Re: GW-5600 question

I've had one for about 4 months and no signs of trouble at all. In fact, I haven't even had to do anything special to keep it charged at full capacity. I'd say the troubled times are over for the GW-5600

TBH, for basic the GW-5600 will do, on active however you would be better served with a DW-5600E, less to go wrong etc.

    Just my opinion, nothing more.
