    GW-810BD wrist shots ?

    Hey !
I am looking to buy a GW-810BD before it runs out, but before that I need to see wrist shots and a few from all angles on a desk.. Just to make sure these look just as good in real life than the casio catalog pictures before I throw away 200$.

    Thanks !

You can post pictures of your black metal band G-Shock/Casio even if it's not a GW810 :)

I just don't know how that black band is going to look like.

Here are a few pictures of my GW-810BD-1JF 'Black Force'.

The bracelet is fine in itself but is not as good as some of Casio's others like the composite. This bracelet uses folded rather than solid links.

Thanks these are great pictures ! Can you get another wrist one with more zoom out ?

Basically does it look/feel cheap in the hand ?
These are quite rare nowdays and the price is up there, don't know if justified.
Would you say this is worth 120 dollars ?

I haven't got a zoomed out shot on hand.

However. I can tell you that the watch feels solid on the wrist. The bracelet is more weighty than the 'composite' one and feels fine and is not at all rattly despite the links being folded. The links each have their own spring bar, unusually, making sizing a doddle.

The reverse display is actually one of Casio's best it has a gold tone look which makes it clearer with better contrast than say a GW-M5600BC for instance.

This picture illustrates the gold tone.

The watch certainly does not feel cheap and looks and feels more solid than the majority of resin G shocks.

Mine came from Japan, where it is known as the 'Black Force', before they started offering them in Europe and they were more expensive then than they are now.

Thanks ! Well. I think I am going to get one then... 120USD
Unless you have a better suggestion for a black band G-Shock at that price :)

Now that looks amazing, best looking G IMO :)
Looks like some special agent spy watch :)

Just ordered the black one ! It was either this or a Riseman, but I figured the Riseman will always be around while these 810BD's are running out and already are pretty hard to get !
I'll get the RISEMAN some other time !

Yay, I'm not the only one who wanted to do that to the GWM850. I did a thread on mine awhile ago where I tried swapping bezel and bracelet but settled on just the bracelet and kept the dark bezel for two-tone look.

    Re: GW-810BD wrist shots ?

LOL, i love the feature of GWM850 (24hr CDT, multi band 6, adjustable EL duration, day/date display on current time, etc)

but at the end of the day, i prefer the cool reversed LCD of GW810D ...

    so i had to sell my modded GWM850 and re-bough a GW810D
