    Confused "GW-9000" vs "GW9000A"

Last time I bought an atomic mudman (shortly after launch, from Japan) the part number was GW-9000-1JF. The one I've just bought (from the USA) claims to be a "GW-9000A-1".

Now, I'm familiar with the usual suffixes denoting territory (eg JF, ER, etc), but what - if anything - does this "A" refer to?

    Avocado.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

The GW9000-1JF is the Japanese version, the bezel ring is aluminum, but painted black.

The GW9000A-1 is the American version, the bezel ring is aluminum, but unpainted.

It looks cooler in the Japanese version.
