These look really nice. I can't decide which one is better. The blue is definitely unique, but the all black looks more serious/tough.
The blue color looks too bright than in the official pictures. I expect it too be dark blue likes the gulfman (G9100-2), or even darker. Hopefully it is the lighting in their studio. Their blue color on GWA1000A is too bright than on the real watch too.
I think it is time to purchase one of these bad boys.... :)
Very nice pieces indeed!
But I am still waiting for my RAF that I ordered over 7 weeks ago, have to wait until the first week of December now due to further shipping delay from Casio Japan to the UK, So I am still not a GW-A1000 owner, how extremely frustrating!
I am a bit surprised by that blue one tough. Looks like a regular navy blue, but perhaps that is due to overexposure. Here is the first live shoot and it looks darker with a little more purple tone in it:

I am really surprised at the blue one too ... thought it would look more like the pic Joakim posted. Tanaka-san has posted thousands of vids, and from my experience they've been spot on ... which is a bit disappointing, I was really looking forward to the blue one, thinking it was a bit darker shade of blue. Oh well.. the black one is sweet!
I did a quick comparison between images from Tanaka and Casio perfect search. On top of the screen is my GWA1000A. I can tell that the blue on the real watch match the hue green from Casio website (bottom). Blue on Tanaka pic (top) is too bright.
So the new combi watch should not be that bright blue in normal light. It is funny that the camera flash makes the blue in Casio pic (lower left) the same bright.
