    GW-M5600BC Questions

    Hey guys,

I'm thinking this might be my next purchase. Since I sold off a good portion of my collection to buy the Froggy, I'm looking to build it back up a bit....from limited photos I've seen, this looks like a great first start into the 5600 realm.

Can I get some opinions and overall thoughts on this version?

Is this the one that has issues with the module? How does the metal/resin band feel on the wrist? Does the band scratch easily?

Thanks for any help in sealing my decision

It's not the one with module issues.

I have one. I like it. The band is very comfortable. The watch is not as easy to read as a regular display, but not as bad as I thought it could have been. Overall, very pleased!

G-5600. Not that every example seems to have them.

    Re: GW-M5600BC Questions

Thanks for the help guys. I only have one more question before I pull the trigger....

What is the difference between GWM5600BC-1 with module 3063 and GW5600BCJ-1 with module 2924

Looks like line color and placement of the day of the week are the main differences.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search and can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for. Thanks again...

    Re: GW-M5600BC Questions

    Hi Doug,

I think the GWM5600BC would be an excellent choice for you. I'm very happy with mine.

The GW5600BCJ was the atomic/solar option in the 5600 series before the GWM5600BC was available this year. In terms of functions you will find both models are much the same, but timekeeping mode is better for the GWM5600, because you have more at-a-glance information (day, date, and month) in the same display. Other differences are, as you noted, merely cosmetic.

I can only describe the bracelet as ultra comfortable. It is the easiest to adjust that I have seen, also.

Doubt no more, get the GWM5600BC.

And the other difference of course, is that the 'M' is a five-band model, so can sync in Europe.

so any atomic g has to have an 'm' in the code for it to be able to receive the signal in europe? is this the hard and fast rule with no exceptions?

No! The GW-5500 is multiband 5, as is the GW-9000.
