    Lightbulb GW-M5610 Changing Battery...

How hard is it to replace the battery in the GW-M5610 ?

I tried to replace a battery on the PULSAR PQ2011 and ended up breaking it, because the battery was located inside the module and hard to get to.

Is it something I can do myself? Or do I need to take it to CASIO?

Where do they sell spare rechargeable batteries?

Is that the battery or is that a metal cover that goes over the battery? (Side note, you can see the multiband antenna! )

It's not that hard, but stop obsessing about it now -- you shouldn't have to change the battery in that for AT LEAST another nine years, and probably not even then!

That gives you plenty of time to read, re-read, and memorize THIS thread: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f43/how...ery-41076.html

You can buy spare rechargeable batteries from watch supply places like Pacparts and Esslinger's, and (probably) from Radio Shack if they're still around in nine years.

In that picture, that's a sticker on the battery cover -- stop looking at random pictures on the internet and follow the link in my last post.

That's cool how the piezo is connected directly to the case back, and there's no wires, just springs that make contact.

You need a Ph.D. in Casiology to perform that delicate operation!

No, it's not hard. But to do it right, it takes much care. The CTL1616 battery can be purchased in Pacparts or other online retailers.

Here's a video showing the proper techniques.

I think the life compared with the price is competitive and you don't need to think to replace the battery... but the watch... You can change preference before to finish the battery...
