    gw002ka-3v

    Anyone have one of these?

Does the band loop through rings then velcro fasten like the g2300b? Or is there a backpack type snap-clasp on the exterior of the band as pictured on BrianD's 2110v? Or like some aftermarket nylons, does it just have holes and a buckle like a resin band? Can't see much on the stock photo.

"Green textured nylon strap with a resin closure"

Resin closure? THat could be anything! What's with all the double talk and secrecy? Just give it up already.

Ok, an ebay seller said it has two loops but NO velcro. So no one has one of these?

REally appreciate you taking pics just to help me out! Not a typical nylon, and I can see why people like it so much. Looks tough! How are you liking it? Is it true none of the solar atomics have countdown timers? Thought I read that somewhere, and noticed casio didn't list countdown timer as a feature.

    Thanks.

I currently have four atomics in my collection..GW5600, GW002, GW500, and GW300. The first two have countdown timers.. the latter two do not.
The Gw002 is one tough little watch, and the unique texture on the band and bezel, add to the look of this beauty. its size is manageable, although may be too small for a person with large wrists....This one is one that gets alot of wrist time..{excuse the pun.. :-D

As Devori mentioned, some do and some don't. The main thing is that the atomic solars that do have one only have a 60 minute countdown timer. None have one greater than 60 minutes... yet

And this is something that is ok with me.. i mostly use countdown timers in the kitchen, and very rarely have a need for more than one hour of time..
Even our industrial convection ovens only come with a 60 min timer..

Yeah, I have yet to burn anything in the kitchen since the countdown timer.
