    GW225A-1 Question

How limited/how many pieces were made of this 25th anniversary model? H what did it retail for when it came out? How much would I expect to pay for it now?

I recently bought a mudman and love it but wish it was a little bigger....thinking about making the jump to a frogman.

    Thanks!

    Re: GW225A-1 Question

It retailed for $300 when it came out. I believe the estimate is pieces were limited to 3000, but not numbered (so no 0001/3000 on the watch, etc).

You could pay anywhere from $350 to $450 from the looks of previous sales/ebay. There were some places supposedly that had stock of the watches, so you might find them for the $300 MSRP. Also, check the sales forum for this model. Just search "Frogman" and you should see some (in fact, I know there is one for sale right now over there ).

    Re: GW225A-1 Question

I would just like to add that Casio recently has not marked "limited" with numbers since the word "limited" was reffering to "time in production" not the actual amount of models being made.

Because of this I doubt that anyone actually knows how many did they made in total.

This is one of the things that has always frustrated Casio and G-shock collectors from what I can gather.
