    gw2500 time setting? :-\

    hi all,
decided to have a bash at correcting the time on my little used 2500 as it was hour behind.. I'm in uk so have dst adjust at moment.

..but even with manual i still couldn't manage it.. it actually ended up further adrift! :-D

think this watch suffers from too many features and time modes.... or maybe I'm just too used to my simple divers :-D

current situation is that i corrected the sub digital display ok, but can't get hands to match :-\
home city is ok, and I have tried the manual hand set also, but it reverts to incorrect time when saving
    help!
    cheers
    Dan

I'm not sure on your model, but I recently picked up an older Waveceptor with ana digi set up. Have you tried resetting the hands to the Home positions before resetting the actual time? That's what I had to do on mine, albeit this was after putting in a new battery as I bought it used and dead.

Just a thought, not sure if it's any help?

Does yours have an Auto DST setting like the digital Multiband 6's?

    Cheers,

    Rick

This is one of my favourite watches! You should also make sure that the 'hands' aren't set to reflect your 'world time' setting. Here's how - in 'world time' mode, use the bottom right button to change your world time to LON (London). Once this is done, hold down buttons A & B (top left & top right) until the watch beeps, and the hands will now show LON time...

I bought the same model about a month ago on eBay. I was having a difficult and frustrating time setting it up and then I realized that the left hand dial had been "adjusted" using the hand position correction to make the battery read "high" instead of "medium"(for ebay pics I presumed). This also then caused the first push of the mode button (lower left) to send the pointer to T2, instead of WT.

I corrected it and then raised hell with the seller. He denied messing with it (he claimed he bought it from a friend) and kindly refunded me $30.00 for a new battery. It took nearly a week on my dash but the battery finally went to "H" and has stayed there. Great watch, wearing it now.
