GW300 pick up signal outside of US?

I have someone in the UK interested in buying my GW300. He was wondering if it would work in the UK. I think it only picks up signal from CO, but does anyone know if the transmission in Europe is at the same frequency? Just want to be sure.

    Thanks!

it appears the frequency is the same, but i'm not sure if any other issue would prevent my GW300 from picking up the signal over there. anyone know for sure?

Only 5-band watches or watches designed for Europe will receive a signal in the UK. The frequency may be the same, but the encoding is different.

The manual should say where the watch will work.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
