GW4000-1A3JF doesn't know what day it is!

    Hi,

I've followed the PDF module (qw5087) manual and a youtube video (How to set Casio GW4000-1A G Shock Module 5087 by Valencia Time Center - YouTube) on how to set the year month and day on this watch but when it syncs the date goes one day ahead. Anyone else have this issue or a different set of instructions?

    Thanks

That's odd. Do you have it on the correct city code?

Yes, when I hold down the A button it goes to my home city, and time in the sub dial is correct.

Time in the subdial is correct? Do you mean the 24hr clock in the upper left or the 12hr clock in the lower left?
Yes, I am OCD. What gave it away?

Also, what is the arrow in the right subdial pointing to?

Thanks for all the replies. The upper left sub dial has the correct time so it is not off by 12 hours. Today (after I manually adjusted the date) the right sub dial says Wednesday and the date says 29, which is wrong for 2012! I'll try a realign and see what happens.

I would think the year is off. More common than you might imagine.

I think this is it, thanks reese07. I followed E58 Adjusting the Home Positions Manually and when I got to the day it was showing 2 instead of 1. I've adjusted it back and reset the date and now it's Thursday 29th :)

Not currently getting a sync signal but you can assume this is the fix if I don't post more here.
