    GW9000A-1 availability

Is the GW9000A-1 (solar atomic mudman) still on sale anywhere? Everywhere I look at it seems to be sold out.

    Thanks!

The link above says it's out of stock.
By pure chance I found one last week at Zellers (here in Canada) and decided to get it. Nice watch and VERY comfortable.
As it's a discontinued model, the GW9000 is going to be ever harder to find. I looked online for a while and never really tracked down a source.
Good luck with your hunt and sorry for not being much help!

    Thanks Pelican and Teya.
If it's no longer available, what would be the closest alternative? The GW6900-1?
I have puny wrists and don't want anything significantly larger....

The GW9000 is not discontinued, just on backorder. Be patient and you'll find one. In the meantime, your GW6900 inquiry is good. Also check out the GW9200-1 Riseman, great for smaller wrists.

Are you certain the GW9000 isn't discontinued? I thought this one was long gone and had been superseded by the GW9010 and now the G/GW9300.
I'm really not so sure that the five-eye muddy is on backorder - if there's info to the contrary let me know.
    Cheers

The CASIO site indicates this is a discontinued model. Some effort or luck will be needed to locate one.

Is the GW9300 on sale in the US? From a google search I think I only see Japanese versions, and at very expensive prices...

The GW9300 seems to be a Japan only release. The non atomic version, the G9300, is fairly easily available in the US at much more reasonable prices - I suppose it all depends how much the atomic function is worth to you. There's no doubt that both models are selling like hot cakes though.
As for the puny wrist problem, why not check out the GW9010 (still easy-ish to source online, although not always 'cheap').
Good luck with whatever you choose!
