    gwf-1000 or gw-1000bp

Which one would you buy and why? Which will have the better value in years to come? Both seem to be close in price.

I like the BP better because of the purple digits, but the regular gwf-1000 is atomic. I think the BP will be worth more because it is an LE. It depends what is more important to you the purple touches or the atomic sync. I think the gwf-1000bp would be out of the question because lately I haven't seen one for less than 1k

Would love a gwf-1000BP, but not in my price range right now. Hard decision, because I like the purple, but I don't have any atomic Frogmen yet.

The BP is definitely the more interesting of the two. If you are buying a Frogman, I am guessing the style at least plays a part somewhat? It is not the most practical watch, after all, being so large and rectangular. I have had both, and the regular GWF-1000 was a pretty boring watch.

If you intend to wear it, buy the one you like the best. If your just going to keep it to sell later, then the BP will be the one to go for, due to its limited numbers.

I am leaning towards the BP due to I wear all my watches and it looks good. Right now I have a GW-220S and a GF-8250 that I got yesterday. My problem is that the 200S runs about 3/4 of a second fast everyday, haven't checked the 8250 yet. Anyone elses run like this. Seems a little excessive to me that's why I am trying to decide between the two, but it's the first Frogman I've owned.

I did buy the GW-1000BP. I love the purple, and it is more important to me than the atomic. I tend to think the purple will hold its value better. But buy what you like.

+1 Purple. Atomic is nice, but not really necessary, quartz is already accurate enough. Purple is very cool, and will probably keep a higher price than atomic, if you ever decide to sell.

P.S. if you have problems with accuracy, there is a trimmer for rate adjustment.

Watches are fun IF you don't take them seriously.

Love the purple. I am actually building a Harley Road King right now and tried to match my GX56-DGK to the powder and paint.

CCCP, I take it that I will need to take it in for the adjustment.

I really want to like the BP, but it's purple is too subtle, as if designers rushed it. Purple shouldn't be a subtle color but on this watch it is.....
