    GWF-1000B sticker shock

Just saw the GWF-1000B-1JR for sale for $954.00 (shipping included) from one of our reliable Japan-based dealers. It's there RIGHT NOW waiting for anyone with the cash to buy.

I love the look of this limited edition solar atomic frogman. I really really do. At that price, though? I just cannot bring myself to pay that much for high-tech plastic regardless of the cool factor. If I bought it I couldn't keep it. And I don't want to get into speculating (and flipping) rather than collecting.

    Anyone else feel this way?

Even at half that price, it's still insane.

The moment the GWF-1000B hit the $500 price mark, I'll be all over it like syrup on a pancake.

If you contact Higuchi, he's quoting 63,000 Yen which is around $700. That's where I got mine.

I am waiting as well....patiently. I think an international release will bring the price down a little bit.

yes, many people agree with you that it's beyond their budget. but do you have any doubt that casio will sell every atomic frog they produce?

I don't get it G Shocks have always sold well because there were something the average man could afford. The nicer ones would require saving up a little. Now at these prices how many average folks can get one.
