    Picture GWF-1000G-1JR in the Wild

It`s here and not moment too soon, with literally just a few days left in the Middle East, before the trip to China and then onto the tropics for the next 3-4 years

    Sure a lot of $$$ for a "G" but what a "G"

Sorry guy`s picture`s are real rough & ready, everything is boxed good, and every minute counts

All concerns about readability immediately evaporate as you open the box for the first time, the display is large and easily one of the best Casio has ever produced. The level of finish is way beyond anything I have seen G-Shock deliver previously, only my Protrek - PRW-5000T-7JF runs in this league

Size, well if you want wrist presence, seek no more it`s a monster, the only other Casio that dominates this much is my modded PRG-80YT on a 24mm Hirsch "Extreme" dive strap and that`s a beast, the GWF-1000G if anything is more so. The gold highlights perfectly accentuate & balance the aesthetics of the watch. A watch as big as the GWF-1000 being completely black would be too much, compared to the all black PRG-80YT the 1000G is simply far more interesting to the eye, by a long measure.

For those who are considering an "Atomic" Frogman and concerned with the size, just try out a PRG-80 and you will be in the right ballpark The GWF-1000 is much bigger than the previous GW-200 series, and I can see why some have moved on relatively quickly, for me I love it

Pricing, well it is what it is, the watch is priced for the Japanese domestic market and it`s Frogman. Is the GWF-1000G worth the asking price yes & no, on pure technical virtues the watch is overpriced, as something that I will enjoy for years to come no. With this one you have to separate desire & performance, had the watch been a mainstream release, it would be more reasonably price in some geographic location, as per the GW-200`s, unfortunately most would not see the benefit. The GWF-1000G does not disappoint, the $$$, well it`s only paper and this is the "King of Frogman" for the 21 century I have no regrets, absolutely fabulous, superlative one of the best G-Shock`s ever produced, don't be shy they wont last long

Chino Watch has stock, I pre-ordered mine, delivered in 3 days to the Middle East, like clockwork, as always a pleasure to deal with, super service. Don't wait too long some Japanese site are already listing the GWF-1000G as sold out, probably the initial surge although I do suspect there will be a big demand for this Frog.

Very nice I'm waiting for you to get some shots of it with your 80. I wish I could see one of these in person. After your review I'm more interested than ever. Hope your move is very smooth

Some more quick shots, you can really see the size of the GWF, side by side with the PRG. overlay one top of the one other you wont see a great deal of daylight, they are almost identically sized...

If the GW-200 is a "Frog", the GWF-1000 has to be the "Bull Frog"

Very nice! I have the non-gold version and wished I held out for this one! If I only got lucky and found someone who didn't like their gold one, I would trade plus cash in a moment! Congratulations!!!!
