GWG1000 button seems to be sticking

I have a GWG1000 that the D button seems to have less travel than the other buttons and sometimes stays depressed when used.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Have you tried cleaning it? Maybe some dish soap and an old toothbrush.

Yeah, it didn't seem to help. Sometimes it springs back other times it doesn't even after cleaning.

I wonder if it could possibly be slightly bent. Does it show any sign of impact? Would you say the surface of the button is level the way it should be?

    how new is it?

ive had this on several new Gs and still have it on a few that i dont use very often. the lube on the button area/shaft gets a bit sticky from lack of use. if you press/pivot it a bunch of times it usually frees it up. bit like springbars, theres always one side that is more reluctant that the other.
considering the D button is hardly used on the gwg thanks to the smart crown its no surprise its a little sticky, completely nothing to worry about tho.

The watch is less than a year old and doesn't have any damage.
I use the D button more often than the compass and altimeter buttons but they don't stick.

Can you post a pic of the back plate?

I somehow missed the less travel in your first post.

With less travel and sticking, I would speculate about a weakened or broken spring.

Either way, I would send it in for repair.

If the D button is the one on the top right even my lowly GG-1000 has the same issue
