    GWG1000 on tan leather strap...

I know it's not to everyone's taste, but it started off with the green original strap, then a camo one, then a metal bracelet. Just fancied a change and it already had the 22mm J&K converters for the bracelet... (Yes, that's a black buckle LOL)

Not my personal cup of tea on a watch like the muddy, but you get to wear it, not me!

    Enjoy!

Re: GWG1000 on tan leather strap...

I like the strap. I would not personally wear it on a GWG, but that's irrelevant. If you like it, enjoy!!

For whatever reason I am very very picky about straps on certain watches. Especially leather straps. I like certain leather straps on more dressy watches. But sometimes on the forum I see thick leather straps on divers that I otherwise would like, and I want to puke! People could literally not pay me to wear a watch such as that. (btw, I am not at all talking about YOUR watch here. It does not evoke such strong feelings in me. I am really talking about Seiko and other divers I've seen on leather. YUCK!!)

Re: GWG1000 on tan leather strap...

Looks good but certainly not practical , IMO
Leather is porous and a soaked leather strap doesn't smell good or last well. Hence why it's mainly reserved for dress watches or casual watches that stay 100 feet away from the water.

I like the strap and the watch but not together unfortunately.
