gwm850-1v owners, are you happy with your watch?

    Hi,

I'm considering a gwm850-1v. If you own one already, are you happy with it? Is it too small? Is it g shocky enough for you?

If you happen to own a gw2310-1, how do they compare? Do you prefer the size of one or the other? I have a 7 inch wrist and don't mind a little bulk.

Whatever thoughts you might have will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I just sold mine and immediately regretted it, and am looking for another one. Its a nice 'formal' G - sleek lines, just the right thickness, feature rich module. Its a more refined than bold.

I do have a g2300, similar case size to the 2310. The face looks like a mini Frogman, built like a tank. This watch screams all action, all the time.

So for me if I can compare it to drinks, one would be like wine - more refined, the other one is beer - anything goes.

Re: gwm850-1v owners, are you happy with your watch?

Thanks for your reply, peacemaker. I've read that the gwm850-1 is "small" for a g. The 2310 looks nice and beefy. How do they really compare in size? I don't want a "small" watch, but "small" by g shock standards might not really be small.

It's hard to get a real idea from the photos I've seen.

No problem. Officially, here's the Casio measurements:

    GW2310 52.5 x 46.4 x 15.6mm / 69g
    GW2310BD 52.5 x 46.4 x 15.6mm / 131g

    GWM850 - 51.5 x 42.5 x 13.9mm / 56g

If you want heft, I would not consider the GWM850. When I first saw it, to be honest I thought it was a fake - it can't be a G if its this small and compact. But if you check out the measurements, its really not that small. Its more of the thickness of the case as well as the strap. I see it as a refreshing change from the 6600 that I usually wear. You can follow the rule of thumb here - if you can't decide - buy both You won't regret it.

Yes, I did buy both. Waiting for them to arrive. If I try to keep both, though, my wife will ... well ... not like it.

Thanks again for all the great info!
