    GWR-B1000X & GWR-B1000 PICTURE THREAD...

When I first saw the GWR-B1000 I was very interested then Casio revealed the Limited Edition GWR-B1000X and I knew I had to get one.

Just received one and it's a stunning watch, couldn't be happier.

Took loads of photos so thought it needed it's own picture thread.
There's a few of these around now so feel free to add your pictures of this beautiful model or the GWR-B1000.

    Re: GWR-B1000X PICTURE THREAD...

Congrats CC!! I had a strong feeling that you'd like this watch. It would be very hard not to, IMO!!

Like you, when I saw it I immediately knew that I wanted it. Instant attraction, so to speak. Well.....that's happened with women too.

I am quite impressed with this piece. (back to the watch now...lol) The coloring on it is outstanding, with the rose gold adding an elegant touch. The carbon fiber all over gives it such a sporty look that it can't be missed. It does not have a cheap look or feel. (that's good, considering its price! ) In fact, I'd wager that if all of the writing was removed from the dial, bezel, and band, it could pass for a unique, high-end, high-tech watch selling for $10K in a boutique!! I'm not joking. It is very well-made and designed. The carbon monocoque case is a bonus. The low weight of this watch makes it supremely comfortable on the wrist. I'd say that most of my Gs are very comfortable, but I can say honestly that none are more comfortable than this one on the wrist.

I think the GWR-B1000 has set the new standard for Gravitymaster watches. As much as I liked some of the older Gravitymasters, like the GPW-1000, and even the GW-A1000 series, this one is in another league. The carbon fiber on the dial and bezel is one of my favorite things about this watch - along with the red and rose-gold accents. Just a fantastic combination overall!

My advice - if you are on the fence about this watch, or a GWR-B1000 in general - don't be! Jump off that fence and pick one up!! Sell a kidney if you have to! Or a bunch of other Gs. You'll be glad you did!

(btw, for those interested, the second hand is spot-on, dead center on all the markers, all the way around the dial - just like my MR-G)

    Totally agree with you Joe.
Looks amazing, feels so light and comfortable, oozes quality with every marker hit dead centre.
I was slightly concerned about the light weight but in hand not an issue at all, infact a huge bonus.

Can't wait to see this watch in daylight.

This watch looks like a venomous snake died on my wrist. But I dig it.

Still the best photo I've seen yet of this watch.

I plan to break out my "good camera" (i.e., non-phone, 35mm) sometime soon for this 1000x.

One other thing I noticed, it seems to get charged up rather quickly. When I got the watch, it was probably at about a 60% battery level. After only a short while in the sun, it now registers as fully charged. I have no worries about getting a low battery on this one, as it's likely to see a LOT of wrist time!

Thanks T4P, but I think you're just entranced by the green background. Reminds you of all the outdoor labor you've been doing lately.
