    GX-56 UK Launch

Phoned the Casio shop today. Unless I am terribly mistaken the guy I spoke to told me they expect stock this Friday for a launch. Also he stated it was not a limited model so would be available, and on the web shop also.

Hope this is correct. Also (a prayer to the god of overpriced plastic gizmos) please let's have some sort of reasonable price Casio it's just a puffed up version of a basic watch really.

But I want the black and gold one with a passion!

Best UK price I've seen is £101.99 think that's still a pre-order though, the page is a little confusing Casio G-Shock GX-56-1AER Watch

    1) Breath of fresh air to see a modern g-shock get a UK release. When ever have you seen a riseman/frogman in a UK shop of any kind?

    2) It will also be a big step forward to see a reasonable price as well!!

I could be tempted as just over £100

    No GXW though?

I can't understand why, when they have made a 6 Band atomic watch, Casio don't release it in the places that offer radio coverage ie.
    USA, UK and mainland Europe.

I'd want atomic too. It kinda helps justify the jumbo size as you can kid on the big case is groaning with radio receiver electronics. Though really we all know that isn't true.

But I'm struggling to feed my gizmo addictions at the moment so hoping the basic GX goes on sale in the UK at the £102 one vendor is already offering (but with no stock as yet) But £85 would be better!

You can buy a riseman in H samuels.

I wouldn't as it's a silly price but you can.

Frogmen on the other hand are a little tricky

You can buy a GW-2500b from H Samuel website for £130 inc free next day delivery at the moment (£149 minus 12.5% cashback). That has to be the cheapest AD price in the UK at the moment by around £30 - £35.

Good deals can be found if you look hard enough.

My H Samuels only had the atomic mudman and a few GA-100's but no riseman. The mudman was selling for £130 which was crazy but then they reduced it to £67 so I snapped it up!!
