Happy Lunar New Years everyone. Unlike the U.S., Asia counts their New Years in account of the moon, which allows New Years to land on a different date each year. People throughout the different Asian countries celebrate in many different ways and traditions. However some of the common practices are, prepare offering to the ancestors, wearing red (for happiness), eating lots of food, handing out red envelopes, and enjoying good company with family and friends.
In order to celebrate, I thought I would share with you all the DW6900 "Burning Red". The red color on the watch really mimics the color on the red envelopes, and the symbolism of happiness. What makes this watch even cooler is that I actually purchased it back in 2008 on Chinese New Years.
Wish you all a Happy Lunar New Year, with long life and good health.
