Has anyone ever noticed that some watch are advance

2 digital atomic watch, first one sync and 2 days later the other one sync. Disable auto-sync for both and 2 weeks later, the other one is 1 sec advance than the other one.

Without syncing they're effectively just quartz digitals, so this is normal.

Yes, without the atomic correction, the watches will function like a normal quartz. Accuracy then is expected to be +/- 30 seconds per month. Sometimes they will run fast or as you put it "advance".

Casio claims + or - 15 seconds per month. So, some are fast, some are slow, some are just right.

Re: Has anyone ever noticed that some watch are advance

i've found many of my atomic watches to actually be quite inaccurate when they don't sync. seems they'll gain a full second every day or two when they don't sync. they probably don't spend time regulating them since they are atomic. then again i've heard others claim their atomics are very accurate by themselves without the signal. i guess like all things it depends.

It has been 3 days since mine synced [cloudy. rainy weather here, 1000 miles from Colorado...] and my GW700BDJ-2 is off by a fraction of a second....interesting.
