    Has anyone"killed" a G Shock?

Has anyone had a G Shock die on them in everyday use?
Maybe you dropped it and it died or had water penetration or something...

Only by trying to modify it by dismantling it and totally messing up. My fault not the watch.

In normal use they are tough cookies, don't break and take much abuse and keep on working.

How many more ways can someone express their fear of damaging one of the most durable consumer watches?

Short of smashing it with a baseball bat or firing a bullet at one, not many ways.

    Re: Has anyone"killed" a G Shock?

I once bagged a Mudmaster the first day of G-hunting season. Shot it with an elephant gun. Now it sits on display in my gameroom.

Oh, then there was that time that I stepped outside during a light rain. A single raindrop landed on my dial of my Frogman, and the entire watch exploded! Just blew right off of my wrist.

Watchw, I'm beginning to think that if you sold your Gs and all other watches, and did not wear a watch at all, you would save yourself a lot of needless worry and anxiety. Of course, that might result in missing a lot of trains.

Maybe... if your bathroom is like this and the fall is more than 10 meters high...
