Has anyone put black resin on a DW-5600EH Eric Haze

Yeah, that's the goal. I'm a car guy. I ordered the glass, they said backordered, hoping I can still get it. I'm thinking Spike Haze.

that would be awesome if you can get the crystal on its own. I never thought of that. I had considered the exact same mod, but I didn't want to risk ruining my Eric Haze in the crystal removal. In the end, I sold that watch.

Casio said backorder 3-4 weeks. Hopefully it'll show up and I won't get a call that they can't get it.

I rather have the regular white resin on it. It gives a very nice contrast with the black and red faceplate

@Phelps - Thanks for tracking that down. I like it.

@Sjors - I agree with you on one hand. But, the purpose of my Spike Lee right now is my daily beater - for days when I don't want to have to worry about damaging a nicer watch. I've always disliked all the gold lettering on the SL and really wanted this as a "car themed" watch to wear to the race track. With the grease and grime of weekends at the track, I think sticking with my beat up black SL resin is the best bet. If the glass order comes through, this will be a very inexpensive mod. Fingers crossed. I do have a rising white bezel though, so maybe it'll make an appearance.

I have another mod upcoming that may also make collectors cringe ;)
