    Question Has anyone reversed the display on a screwback module???

    Have any of you out there ever reversed the display on an older 5XXX series watch? modules 901,240,691

    im looking into getting my first screwback and would like to make it black any help will be greatly appreciated:thanks

    Gulp, I doubt anyone would want to do that to a vintage, especially for the prices that these go for in mint condition.

    Still, may I suggest you do it on the re-issues, although there are a few re-issues that already have reverse displays like the Rising Whites for example.

    ive done it to some DW-5600-e's already, i was just wondering because im

    currently trying to buy a 5400(just like your avatar actually) and i think the

    black face and black display would look smashing together:thanks

    kinda... not really though, ive got a Dw-5400 module 240 on the way, and i

    believe thats a module 1545. or are you saying that either one will fit in the

    same housing, because if thats the case i have a reversed 1545 on my shelf as we speak?!:thanks

    an 1545 won't fit an 5400 cause 1545 is little bigger and 240 module and only will fit an 691 or 901 or 106 modules will fit an 5400.

    hi ron! out of the 3 modules you stated above have any ever come with a reversed display? im under the impression that i should not attempt to reverse my screwback but if i can find a black display and swap it out that would be great.

    Definitely 2 different modules that don't interchange. I just wanted to provide an idea of what a reverse display 5400 would look like.
