    Havent been online much...

This week im getting my PADI Open water certification... So I go from work to the class then to bed.

Lots of fun! Going on my check out dive this weekend...

BTW, the instructor is wearing a cool round Citizen Aqualand 25th anniversary model.

    I'mwearing a Seiko diver... Wish I had a Suunto d4 d6 or d9!!!

But my gauges are Suunto! :)

No Frogman either. I got rid of it thinking I would never REALLY dive. LOL Same reason I got rid of my Citizen Aqualand. But at least there is a G in the class. Worn by a young guy... :)

Wow, that's great Jeff! But I hope that your new diver status won't take you away from G-Shock or Suunto. We already lost Ianmedium to the Citizen siren song.

Excellent...this should increase your G-going repertoir no end.

You could get a PAW1500 next, being that they're 200m.

Naa... As a matter of fact, I was planning on doing the whole thing with a 6900.

But, much of my collection are auto divers. I just couldnt see letting one of them enjoy the ride.

So I went with my first REAL watch... SKX 173

I save up much of my enabling for the end of the financial year when people can least afford it.

Well TECHNICALLY, thats a SKX 173 and 175 :) (US releases).

Honestly the reason I chose the 173 is because the bracelet I have on the 175 does not have a wetsuit extension.

The bracelet on the 173 is not a stock bracelet but has an extension. I have been wearing my watch tucked under the cuff of my suit, but maybe tonight I will try the extension.

I'm pretty sure ALL Seiko divers in the skx series can handle diving just fine!
