    He Ain't Heavy, He's My G Shock

I thought I would compare the weight of various types of 'G's that I have.

I will list in order from the lightest.

Surprisingly light for such a chunky watch.

    GW-5500-1AJF

    DW-056BK

    DW-5600E

    G-313

    PAW-1300G

    G-300BWC

    DW-8400

    G-6900 (jelly)

    G-6900 (resin)

    GW-7900B

    The mighty Raysman (Titanium version)

    G-2000

    GW-200 Frogman

    GW-200 Frogman (red jelly)

    Frogman (blue jelly)

    DW-8200 Frogman

    PAW-1300Y on titanium bracelet

    GW-5600BC on composite bracelet.

    MRG-7500

GW-810BD-1AJF (Quite heavy with SS bracelet)

And the winner and heavyweight champion is.......................................

The mighty REVMAN! (even though it is all Titanium)

The bracelet watches will vary in weight obviously, depending on your wrist size. My watches are sized to a 6.25" wrist.

Here are a few other watches so that you can compare 'G's to other watches.

    Oceanus

    and a couple of Citizens

Now you got that song stuck in my head!

Nevertheless, very cool posting. I think my biggest surprise was that the PAW-1300 resin was so light. That's amazing for a solar, atomic, ABC watch.

Excellent post there - very interesting. Must've taken ages to do.

    One question though...

...why does BLUE jelly weigh more than RED jelly?

Now that's creative, very cool data.
Look at modern dive watches, getting up to 300g with bracelet...

I can only say that screwbacks are heavier (of course) than plates,
but still within reasonable weight on the wrist.
My Seiko Monster with bracelet is sometimes too much.

    Thanks for posting!
